A note from the Regional Director: When the film "Borat" hit theaters, many people heard about Kazakhstan for the first time. Serving with TeachOvereas, you will have the opportunity to see the real Kazakhstan, a Central Asian country with rich resources, a diverse population, and a rich and fascinating history. Come and have a cup of tea with students, take a walk in fresh-fallen snow, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Central Asian steppe.
My time in Kazakhstan has included some of the hardest times in my life, but it has also been absolutely incredible! I have experienced and learned about several different cultures and grown in my love for God and the world.
