Change Lives in China!
China is a fascinating place, brimming with culture and contrasts. Most visitors to China enjoy a tour of the Great Wall or a glimpse into the Forbidden City. With TeachOverseas, you have a special opportunity to go beyond the major sites and experience everyday life with Chinese people.
Our volunteers teach university students and adults who have a basic command of English, but may never have interacted with a Westerner before. We have opportunities to teach conversational English and business in cities throughout China. Your service in the spirit of Christ's love can make a real difference in students' lives. Join our team and be a positive influence on the rapid social and economic changes that characterize today's China.

Director's Notes
A note from our China Regional Director: Our English and Business teachers recently met for a well-deserved retreat at a beautiful site just outside of the ancient city of Xian, which is famous for the terra cotta soldiers. It was great to hear about the teachers' experiences, to pray with them and to give them counsel. (We also had an awesome, fun-filled talent show!)
After Xian, I traveled to Beijing to meet up with our Total Immersion Program (TIP) teachers (affectionately known as "TIPsters"). The ever-energetic TIPsters tried to corral me into a late night game night, but I respectfully declined. It was great to see the TIP team in high spirits and enjoying this innovative new program.
Thank you TeachOverseas! My time in China has been rewarding in so many ways. God has been so faithful!
